Mezcalmania, a Mezcal and Gastronomy Festival

Mezcalmanía is a festival created in 2014 that integrates different traditional Mexican beverages, such as mezcal, tequila, pulque, charanda, rum, artisan distillates and artisan beers; in addition to a variety of typical gastronomy elaborated by the “traditional cooks”.

The objective of this festival is to make these traditional beverages and food known to the public who regularly do not have access to them in the same place. In addition, Mezcalmanía seeks to promote culture, responsible consumption and acceptance in different markets. This is accompanied by activities, music and folkloric dance, creating a 100% family environment.

This year, the country’s best mezcals from the states of Michoacán, Guerrero, Oaxaca, Estado de México and Puebla will be offered, in addition to the fact that, for the first time, the event will focus on being eco-friendly. It is important to mention that they will have a childcare service.

The appointment for the Gastromezcalero Festival will be in the Orchid Garden of CECONEXPO in Morelia, from September 13 to 15, from 11:00 to 22:00 hours. Admission is free of charge.
