I have been living full time in Patzcuaro, Mexico for 4 years and enjoy my life here very much. I do have many questions regarding how to prepare a Will and how to be certain that my new deed (Escritura) is being handled in my best interests. The best way I have found is to make an appointment with Liliana Gonzalez Castro before I begin the process. Liliana is very generous with her time in answering questions. When I first purchased land and proceeded to build a house I did…

Selecting and Negotiating for a House in Patzcuaro Took Almost an Entire Year

Selecting and negotiating for a house in Patzcuaro took almost an entire year, but it was painless because Liliana did most of the work! She sent us information about houses as they came on the market and when we finally made on offer for one, she handled all the negotiations. Throughout the process Liliana patiently answered all our questions and all our…

Liliana assisted us in every stage of the process, and made everything smooth and painless. I would highly recommend her to anyone interested in buying…

A realtor, an attorney, and bilingual.

Who can you trust? It’s a difficult matter for ex-pats to find capable service providers and contractors in Mexico. More difficult to find this competence and professionalism in a bilingual attorney. Finding a professional relies on testimonials of other ex-pats and your own evaluation. Not an easy thing in any country, and definitely more difficult as an ex-pat. I’d suggest to anyone that Liliana Gonzalez Castro meets all these criteria. A realtor, an attorney, and bilingual. I’ve dealt with Liliana for over 3 years, in every way she’s been reliable…

The most complex transaction my husband and I have witnessed.

Liliana Gonzalez is one of those rare people who combine knowledge, competence, and determination. But most important, when working with Liliana, you know she is looking out for your best interest.
