Morelia´s Tourist Attractions and Architecture (Part 2)
Callejon del Romance: The “Romance Alley” is a passage with pink quarry, flowers and fountains. It connects Madero avenue with Luis Moya street. It is located in front of the Aqueduct, Fray Antonio de San Miguel Avenue and the Villalongin Square. This place is surrounded in a romantic aura because all of the poems that decorate the walls, the stone benches to sit below the trees and some romantic bars and restaurants located in this lovely street.

Tarascas Fountain: This fountain is located next to the Villalongín Square and it represents 3 purepecha women holding a tray filled with fruit. This has become one of the monuments that represent Morelia around the country.
There is a small white temple right across the street from the Tarascas fountain, it is called Capilla de Nuestra Señora de Lourdes (Our Lady of Lourdes´Chapel). I have heard that it used to be a women´s jail in the independence´days, but I can´t confirm it. If somebody wants to leave a comment about it, it will be much appreciated.
