Dia de los Muertos – Day of the Dead

This is one of the most important holidays in Mexican culture. What many often mistake as death cult, is in fact a solemn, warm, and family celebration that is far from being sad or scary (ok, it could be scary for some, as it takes place at night, but that’s not the point).
Here I present you some of the photographs that I have taken during this celebration in the cities of Morelia, Patzcuaro and Tzintzuntzan. Not all of them where taken on the same year. I hope you enjoy the video.
