The Morelia International Film Festival (FICM) is considered one of the most important in Latin America. It was created in 2003 with the purpose of promoting the work of Mexican filmmakers, spreading film culture in Mexico and creating a platform where the general public, national filmmakers and the international community can interact. At the end of August we will be able to enjoy the 15th edition of the Indigenous Film and Video Festival in the city of Morelia, which main concern is to revalue and reaffirm the culture, traditions, cosmogony, everyday life and problems of the native people of Mexico.
